Replace 30-amp electric cord wit
  • Replace 30-amp electric cord with removable type (i.e., Marinco ParkPower conversion kit). (Completed 7/04: See Converted power cord to detachable)

  • Permanently install A/C under RH dinette seat.  (Abandoned 9/05 in favor of window mount: See Mounted A/C in window)

  • Add a second TV/12-v. outlet on the side of the drawer cabinet. (Completed 2/05: See Moved TV receptacle to drawer cabinet)

  • Add Statpower TrueCharge 20+ battery charger with remote display. (Completed 7/05: See Installed TrueCharge 20+ charger, Fabricated quad battery rack, Installed Blue Sea battery switches, Re-installed Tripp-Lite 1Kw inverter)

  • Replace sink with deeper model (lots of room above furnace)

  • Under-sink storage mods:
    • Move furnace from under sink to under LH dinette
    • Move outside shower to RH side for more convenience & to use for dish washing
    • Install new outside baggage door (i.e., Kinro) on LH side to cover holes from former shower & furnace vent, use for either garbage can pass-thru or utilities (electric cord, hoses, etc) storage
    • Enlarge interior opening (former furnace location) and add new cabinet door

  • Replace knob-style door lock with flush-style. (Completed 4/04: See Replaced door latch)

  • Add Tri-Metric 2020 battery monitor

  • Add Solar system for charging batts similar to this Solatron Technologies kit

  • Buy Portable satellite dish for DirecTV (have spare receiver) (Completed 1/05: See Winegard Satellite Dish)

  • Install a remote gray water level gauge such as Vena Tank Monitor or equivalent.  Possibly use auto fuel tank sender & gauge or a low-voltage electric probe that drives a series of LED's that indicate various levels.

  • Build a gray water drain hose vacuum breaker. (Completed 5/04: See Fabricated gray water vacuum breaker)

  • Add another outside light on the RH side next to the roof latch to illuminate the table we use for dishwashing.

  • Add another outside light on the LH side to illuminate the utility connections when arriving/leaving in the dark. Try to cover the hole for old fresh water connection.

  • Build a screen door to keep the bugs out & let fresh air in!  (Thanks to Vernon for reminding me about this).  Matching the curved door in metal might be too much trouble; so I plan to make an MDF form that follows the inside door opening and laminate some thin strips of Oak to make a one-piece frame about 3/4" square.  I can rout a groove for the screen bead and use a couple of crossbars in the middle to push on & hold a sliding door to access the latch. If I use some lift-off hinges to let it swing inwards I can remove it to lay flat on the sofa for travel.
